Day 30. Final post in this blog.

June 30, 2011, Thursday.

This was, literally and figuratively, the longest day in my life. I. Am. Tired.

I started this day fixing my iPod, since I knew I needed lots of songs there to keep me from boredom. I had actually planned not to sleep, as our flight was at 6:30AM, and we had to be at the airport by 4:30. But my mom put an end to those plans, and she made me sleep at 2:30.

I woke up at 3:45AM, and my mom told me to get dressed, as we were about to leave. I said my goodbyes to all my relatives at the house. I said goodbye to my lola, my cousins, and my aunt. My two uncles were the ones who were gonna bring us to the airport, so I said goodbye to them as well. It was kinda sad for me, as I was leaving my home of 15 years.

BTW, the night before, my friends had done awesome things for me. My II-Hooke classmates and Ate Ayi made my picture their profile pic, while my friend Lora did webcam pics for me. Lots of people said goodbye to me over the phone, FB, Twitter, or by text. For that, I thank you all. You're all amazing.

Anyway, back to my day.

We got to the airport by 4:30, and we finished all the checks by 5:15. We went to this lounge in NAIA to eat breakfast. I ate a lot there, since my rule when faced with unlimited food is, eat all you can. Srsly, I did. We left the lounge by 5:50, since it was already boarding time for our plane. We left the Philippines by 6:30. I slept for most of that flight, and when I woke up at 10:30, it was just 30 minutes to the plane's landing.

We got to Beijing airport by 11:00. It was an amazingly huge place, and even though there were a lot of people in the airport, it seemed as if the airport was almost empty. But I was pissed when I got there, since we found out that the flight was to be at 4PM. What sucked the most, there was no wi-fi. :'(((

We looked for restaurants where we could eat lunch. Language barrier struck, tho. The only place we could go to was Pizza Hut. We stayed there for 1 and a half hours. Then we stayed at benches until 3PM. We waited for another hour at the gate. The flight left amazingly late, 5PM.

That flight seemed to go on forever. I fell asleep for 2 hours. Then I finished one of my books, and halfed another. Then finally, at around 1PM here, or 4AM of the next day there, the plane landed in Vancouver. I was relieved. We got to immigration, and we stayed there for like 2 hours. It was super-boring. After that, we got fetched by Ate Jiza, the daughter of my Tita Lisa, her house being where we would stay for a few months.

We took a train home, since the bags took up all the space in the car. We then dropped off at a station, and then walked to their house.

I fell asleep there, then when I woke up, I ate dinner and played Portal with my cousin, Jaren. It was a mind boggling game.

That ends a long-ass day.

And that ends my blog. I'm making a new blog.

Bye.

Day 29. My last blog post in this country.

June 29, 2011, Wednesday.

Damn, my last full day in this awesome country, the Philippines.

I woke up early, and then I saw my parents packing their things. We then stayed at home until after lunch. We then went to Globe, my mom's former office. We fixed lots of things up there until like 3PM. We then went to Serendra, where we dropped something off at my uncle's house. (He was going to Canada soon as well, tho for just a vacation.)

We then went to Park Square, where I bought a new pair of headphones for myself. After that, we went back home. We ate merienda/dinner (meriendinner?) in the shape of a big Hungree Burger, and a Lotsa' Pizza. I'll miss those too.

We spent the evening packing, and I sent my stuff to be given to others to Casey's house. He's an awesome friend. And Ate Ayi too.

Anyway, my blog is almost over. I shall make a new one about Canada.

Stay tuned for the last one.

Bye.

1 day.

Day 28.

June 28, 2011, Tuesday.

Aww damn, I didn't reach it. It's June 29 na. :|
This was my last day with any of my MakSci friends.

My uncle Ed left early that morning, and he, left me 50 Singapore Dollars (1600 pesos, \m/)

I woke up at 9, and my mom and I were to leave for a bank. We left at like 11, after me looking for a few seasons of How I Met Your Mother (I couldn't find it.) We got to Magallanes at 11:30, where my mom entered 2 banks. It took until 12:40 for that to be finished, and we then went to Racks where my dad, my grandmother, and one more of my lolas were eating lunch.

We ate there until 2PM, and then left. My mom and dad then visited another bank to settle something. We finished at like 4:00. My mom and I then left for Alphaland, where she dropped me off for me to take an MRT to school.

I took an MRT from Magallanes to Guadalupe, and then took a jeep to Powerplant. There, I read books until 5PM, when I decided to go to MakSci already. I walked, and then by 5:10, I was in MakSci. I waited a little, then I went in. I saw all my friends and bros, and that was fun. For the rest of that hour, I libre'd lots of people.

After that, DA, Ted, and I went to Ted's Kumon, for no particular reason. It took a long time for us to get there and get back. I sold my fake "Beats By Dr. Dre" headphones to DA at around this time. We got to Powerplant by 7PM. My friends who were waiting there, G, Roy, Aaron, Mela, and Innah, were all relieved when we got there. Until like 8, we spent our time playing arcade games, and winning tickets in the token machine.

After that, Mela, Innah, and G had to go, and that left Me, Roy, Ted, Aaron, and DA there. We decided to eat dinner at Pepper Lunch. We spent an hour there, and did things I shall not specify, for fear of getting sued.

Then, we left, and went to a Mac center, the details of which I will spare you too.

We then went awesomeing for a few more minutes, having many awesome experiences, when Ted said he had to go. We then got to the entrance near the jeep place, and then started to reminisce about the past. DA's mom then texted him to go to Starbucks, and he did so. Ted didn't go yet tho.

We stayed in Starbucks, DA drinking coffee, and the rest of us drinking "shots" of water (pretty retarded.) Malvin and Ted then had to go, and we had our goodbyes.

That left me and DA there, which we thought was pretty ironic, since we had started in MakSci just the 2 of us, and I was ending it, me and him. (Wright gramming?)

My dad then fetched me, and we made our way to Serendra, where mom and her friends were eating. I got a free Gelatissimo scoop of ice cream. We then went to this other restaurant, where my mom and my dad, and my mom's friends and their husbands had drinks, and laughs. I then decided to go to Fully Booked, to buy yet another book. I got "The Blitzkrieg Myth," and left just before Fully Booked's closing. I got back to the restaurant, to see that my mom and her friends were still talking, and laughing. It was pretty boring for me, but I assume they had the time of their lives.

They finished up at 11:15PM, and we left Serendra by 11:30PM. I got home by 12, which was why I couldn't write this in time for June 28.

2 days.

Bye.

Day 27.

June 27, 2011, Monday.

Awesome day with classmates, and pretty busy. Pretty close to the end of my monthly journal. Tho I'm considering adding another month there, 'cause I want to document my first month in Canada.

Woke up late, since I had slept at like 1 the night before, listening to new music. Not really late, but 9AM. Took a bath, and left home by like 10AM. I was with my Uncle Ed, a keyboardist for this veteran Singapore band, Jivetalkin'. We went to Market! Market! and bought some yema, a sweet Filipino snack. We actually got a good batch, since when you peeled the plastic off, the yema would not go with it.

We then explored around Market! Market! And Serendra next to it, and Bonifacio High Street next to it. Then we decided to go back to Serendra, since we were to take a taxi to Glorietta, and eat lunch there, and wait for my mom, who had brought us to Market, and was doing something in her former office.

We took a taxi to Glorietta, and when we got there, we noticed that it was lunch time. I suggested a few restaurants, but my uncle wanted to go to a Max's restaurant, where he liked the chicken. I thought of where the Max's was, and I realized that there was one in Greenbelt. It was a long walk, but we decided to take it.

We walked all the way to Greenbelt, where that Max's was at, and we promptly started ordering. We had a fried chicken, and a nilagang baka. Nothing other than that.

We ate, and after I was full. But my uncle wasn't, and he decided to order another half-chicken, which I objected to, but he wanted it, so he ordered it. After another chicken, I was super-filled. My uncle then said that he wanted to go home already, since my lola, who was also visiting, and staying at home, was alone.

So we walked all the way back to Glorietta. We got some Ice Cream at BTIC (I think, but I'm not sure if it was a BTIC there next to Ayala Museum.) on the way, and my uncle bought something at Landmark. We got back to Glorietta 4 at like 2:30, and my uncle easily got a taxi. I was then alone, and my mom said she would be getting to Glorietta 5 at around 3, so I decided to go to Glorietta 5, and pass the time.

I walked there, and went to an RJ, the guitar shop where I had had both guitar and drum lessons. The cashiers there were close to me already, so they let me stay and play guitar all I want. I left at like 3PM, and then went to National Bookstore (still in Glorietta 5.) I read books for 45 minutes, and then my mom came. She was late, but it was fine. I read a lot of books, and my mom bought me True Philippine Ghost Stories, one of those ghost story books, which I had collected from 1 to 28. I bought Book 29. And another ghost story book about malls, which interested me.

Soon after that, my mom gave me cash, and I left for Powerplant, where I was to meet my classmates from 2nd year. I took a train, then a jeep, and I got there by 4:30. I spent my time there looking at many shops, and reading at the big Fully Booked there, which was now something I was getting used to. I left there by 5:10, to walk back to Makati Science. I got there by 5:15, and soon after, I got in.

I saw my friends G, Ted, and Aaron, my bandmates and bros. Then I saw my classmates. I was to be going with them for that day, so I just gave Ted, G, and Aaron money for tokong, a street food sold next to MakSci, which all of us knew and loved. My classmates and I, after several delays, then walked to Powerplant. There were 17 of us. (Hope I don't get it wrong.) Me, Ludwig, Raven, Marko, Mikhail, Miguel, Luke, Ninay, Ty (Danielle), Ruth, Anje, Odessa, Janelle, Katrina, Kathlyn, Jaycee, and Kim. We ate at McDonald's til' like 6:45, then we went to Powerstation, where we sang a lot (?) and threw rubber balls around, and kept some for ourselves. Haha.

By 8, most of my classmates left. The only ones left in the mall were Raven, Ludwig, Ty, and I. We were supposed to go back to Powerstation and play some more, but we went to McDonald's, bought some drinks, and ended up talking for the rest of our time there. By 8:30, we decided to leave, and then we went to the fountain near one of the entrances. There, Raven was fetched, along with Ty, who went with him. After that, Ludwig and I walked back downstairs, where I was to meet my dad. We saw him earlier on, and I left too.

Went home, and walked my chihuahua. Haha.

3 days.
Bye.

11:11PM. Make a wish. :D

Day 26.

June 26, 2011, Sunday.

I ate too much, but it was a good day. (:(

Woke up early, but I didn't want to. My mom tried too hard to wake me up, and I accidentally screamed at her. She got angry, and went downstairs. I woke up a few minutes later, and dressed up. We then went inside the car, and went to Magallanes, for an early as hell 8:30AM mass. Yeah, and I didn't get the priest's Homily sermon. Anyway, we finished up that mass, and went back home. OTW, I bought some DVDs.

Stayed home 'till 11, and then left for Dasmarinas, Cavite, where we would be having lunch with my mom's friend and her daughter. We got there at around 12, then we found out that they would be coming at like 1. We waited for a while, then went into a department store. We then saw my mom's friend, Ninang Maricar, there, and we talked for a while. She worked there at SM Dasmarinas, and she told me to pick some shirts, since she would libre me. I got two Daily Grind shirts, and she duly bought them. It was around that time that we saw her daughter, Ea (sorry, IDK how to spell her name. Haha.). We talked for a while, and went into a Max's, to eat lunch. We had a full lunch, and talked a lot. We then left soon after, since we had another party later that afternoon. Ninang and Ea were super kind, and awesome.

We then drove home. Amazingly, there was not much traffic, and we got home by like 3:30, after leaving at 3:00. There at home, I saw my cousins, and my dude cousins, Kevin, Gio, and Igi. We talked around, until I had to go to Glorietta 5, to get my final drum lessons from my legendary teacher

Sir Benj. I learned a lot there, and I got free drumsticks. We gave Sir Benj a cake or something.

We got back home at like 6:30, as my cousins Kevin, Gio, and Igi were leaving. We said our goodbyes, and my cousin Kevin got a cellphone from me. Ain't I awesome? Haha.

We stayed around for a few more hours, and we had one of those things that become traditions, for some reason. We watched a David Foster concert, and my recital at RJ from last December. It was like the nth time I watched that. XD

Anyway, now begins my final days.

4 days.
See ya in the next life, and don't be late.

Day 25.

June 25, 2011, Saturday.

Another celebration. God, it'll make me fatter. :(

Woke up, and my mom told me we would go early. But eventually, we left at 10AM. We then went to QC, where my mom's dad was buried. After an arduous journey, we got there by 11. We prayed, and wished for safe travels, and a successful time in Canada.

We ate at a Chowking somewhere in QC, for a lunch. Chowking is awesome.

We left shortly after, and we then went to my Lola and Aunt's house. I saw them, and I gave them my Fender Acoustic Guitar, to be brought by my grandparents to Canada, since they were going there as well, for vacation. I talked around with my cousins, and then we left. It then sank in that this would be the last time I would be seeing them for a long time. We left after.

We were then on our way home. We passed by my mom's office, for she had to fix some things. We passed by a discount place OTW home, and then my mom stayed for like 45 minutes, ostensibly to buy a thermos.

We then went to Greenbelt, where I got a haircut. Good haircut, I must say. We then bought some gadgets there. I got headphones. They look cool.

We went home, and then there was my paternal grandmother. And my priest uncle, who lived in Bicol. I was glad to see them. After a few hours of waiting and talking, we had a dinner, which seemed to last for hours. Not that I was bored or anything. My cousins were there, and I had companionship.

It was cool to see all my relatives. They are cool, I tell you.

Cool day. Another party tomorrow. I hope I won't eat as much.

Bye.

5 days. :(
